A love story unfolds!!

Image 1 – Your first meeting of Frank and Alyssia! We hand painted this directly onto the wall of the lovely Baffito’s Bar and Restaurant, Preston.

The second image is one of seven designs we handpainted on to various interior walls and ceilings at the water side restaurant.

All of the designs were intricate and included both words and pictures. The picture artwork is sited around the building to create a story for customers to follow throughout the restaurant.

One of the designs created (seen on picture 3) was signwritten around two sides of a pillar within the entrance to the restaurant, creating an eye-catching feature. As you make your way around the restaurant the love story unfolds with the next chapter that was expertly hand signwritten on to the ceilings above!

The layout is perfectly balanced and positioned to spread around the pillar without interrupting the design.

The client required the artwork to be an exact reproduction of the original hand-drawn sketches and we obliged using the expertise of our highly skilled signwriters.

As the surface of some walls were extremely rough (Frank & Alyssia’s entrance portrait) it was a tough call, but we (and the clients) were delighted with the finished pieces. The characters’ story unfolds around the restaurant and in telling it we were required to signwrite the artwork directly onto a variety of surfaces including rough walls, smooth walls and even three ceilings – each piece of artwork challenging in its own way, but none beyond the experience and abilities of Brian the Brush Ltd. We are undertaking much more of this ‘series’ artwork of late and are always enthusiastic to provide something very specific for clients when asked.
