Project Info
As part of the new 1.2m birth centre at the Bradford Royal Infirmary, we were privileged to be asked to design and undertake the painting of a large wall mural to run the full length of the new ward.
The attached photograph shows a small part of the finished mural in the reception area, but the entire work spanned the full length of a 200ft corridor.
Because all the delivery suites were named after trees, our design consisted of a variety of large leaves painted in subtle colours to match the interior decor of the ward.
Health and safety issues meant that the painting was undertaken with an environmentally friendly paint system directly onto the walls, making them easier to wipe down to avoid the spread of germs.
We are always more than happy to be involved in mural projects and have more than 40 years’ experience in this type of work.
All the staff at the centre were delighted with the result and we were complimented by the project manager on our professionalism.
