Project Info
What a fabulous decorative feature, measuring 18ft x 12ft, that we handpainted onto the wall of this bar and restaurant in Hebden Bridge.
We are being asked to signwrite more and more ‘wordles’, which are a combination of words, all in the same font, grouped together that describe a particular business.
They can add a real talking point to reception areas or wall spaces for any business.
The signwriting of this wordle was distressed and looks like it has been there as long as the building itself.
Because of the shape, we could not get the whole wordle in one photograph, so the next two photos show the complete wordle in all its glory.
Because of its position, we experienced one or two problems with access to reach all the areas as the main bar on the ground level below obstructed our way. We were able to overcome these issues by using a combination of trestles high steps, scaffolding towers combined with planks and extra long staging boards. We always find a way around!
Image 3 – taken from the ground floor showing the right-hand side of the wordle that runs along a ceiling beam, allowing the wordle to run the entire width of the building. This was the easy part, as we could reach the area to be signwritten from a pair of steps. We always work in accordance with Haelth & Safety guidelines and are fully insured for public liability.
Image 4 – Traditional, joiner-made, 5ft high exterior plywood sign, painted and signwritten to match the company branding of this bar and restaurant.
